Get ready to join us for conversations where both newbies and industry vets alike will find inspiration and assistance. 00:00:51 In another life, I would be an interior designer, but honestly it just involves way too much math. So, I've settled on branding interior designers instead. In 2016, I quickly found my niche among interior designers, sharing that fundamental belief that what makes a space memorable, whether tangible or digital, is not only how it looks but how it feels. I founded The Identite Collective and shortly after IDCO Studio to do just that. Working with some of the industry's most innovative thinkers has given me an endless well of knowledge and inspiration and has helped me hone and expand my strengths over the years. Apartment Therapy named me a Design Changemaker in 2021 and IDCO has been ranked one of the top 40 creative studios in the world by Fiona Humberstone three years running. 00:01:45 As a way to pay it forward I co-host more than 150 interior designers a year at Design Camp, as part of our commitment to bringing transparency, equity, and financial empowerment to the interior design industry during the intimate luxury retreat. When I'm not working with the ever-growing team of 19 from our Austin studio, you'll find me catching a Master Pancake Theater show at Alamo Drafthouse, eating the chicken karaage under the trees at Loro, or getting my hands dirty, renovating our east Texas Lake House with my husband Quinn and pup Kennedy. The Identite Collective and IDCO Studio are thrilled to be launching our first season of the interior, collective a podcast for the business of beautiful living starting on Friday, May 20, 2022.
